Very nice quiet and friendly neighborhood. With 4 adult bikes provided we were even close enough to ride to Manasota Beach. We went to a local garage sale and bought a children's bike since we needed 5 and Sabine let us leave it there for future users. The kids loved the pool. The house is very well stocked with everything you need to cook except you'll have to buy or bring your own seasonings, cooking oil, flour ect. - We've seen these things provided in most airB&Bs We've stayed in. We really liked the location because we could head north towards Venice or south towards Englewood and find plenty of things to do and good places to eat and shop. There are plenty of things needed to enjoy your time at the beach - chairs, umbrellas, toys, cooler. Overall a very nice place for a family of 5 to stay.

Great place to stay. Can bike ride down to the closest beach. Quiet safe neighborhood. Great space in the house and lovely sitting area by the pool. It housed myself, husband, in-laws, a 20 month old toddler and 2 dogs. Never felt cramped. No spices left at house so if you plan on cooking bring some with you! Beach towels and toys available. Would recommend to anyone and hope to come back someday!

“Sabine’s place was wonderful! Everything you could think of for a beach trip the property had. Cooler, beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, bikes, towels and sand toys all provided. The house was very clean upon arrival. A fully stocked kitchen was much appreciated. Pool area was nice, and inviting. Beds were comfy. Would definitely recommend staying at the Flamingo Villa! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Sabine is a great host and thinks of the "little extras". There was a bottle of wine, chips and salsa on our arrival. The cruiser bikes were very nice and an easy ride to Shamrock Park. We also enjoyed the ferry boat pass to the private beach. Things like paper towels, toilet paper ,trash bags, laundry detergent and dish detergent were provided which was nice since we flew. Nice floor plan for our family and loved the pool.”

“We will definitely be back! Beautiful location, minutes away from gorgeous beaches! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood that was perfect for walking and biking. The bikes in the garage were great to ride. Additionally, the house has all the beach equipment you need! House is very clean and comfortable. The back patio and pool was the perfect place to hangout. Any questions we had upon arrival/duration of our stay were answered immediately. This is a great find!”

“The home was better than expected and the location was close to everything we wanted to do. It didn’t take us long to remember why we always loved coming to Venice. A nice touch to have bicycles which we used for several trips to Manasota Beach. The pool was inviting and a source of a few afternoons relaxation. The home had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back.”

Our family spent a month at this house. The home was exactly what we needed! The house was perfectly clean and well stocked with supplies, located in a nice and quiet neighborhood 5 min drive to the Manasota Key Beach. Overall - Cozy home, nice heated pool, pet-friendly home. Great place to stay for a short or long-term rental
