Tropical Paradise Retreat near Gulf Beaches
This newly launched pool villa is situated in Englewood East, a pretty and well-kept residential neighborhood. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and can accommodate up to 6 persons. The beautiful garden at a small canal with lush greenery around makes this vacation home a real tropical paradise. The large lounge area is perfect for chilling and enjoying beautiful sunsets.
The Place
Villa Happy Gator 2 is fully equipped with everything you need in your home away from home. Beach utensils are provided. Englewood has a small-town atmosphere with its charming neighborhoods like Dearborn Street.
Families are welcome – for small children we provide security alarms on pool facing doors (can be turned off for guests with no small kids). We offer books, games and beach toys. Two parks with playgrounds the little ones love are only 3 minutes away: Tringali Park and Englewood East Park. Manasota Key Beaches are only minutes away.
Location
The location is perfect for a relaxing vacation – minutes to shopping, restaurants and parks. Manasota Key has 4 Beaches to offer: Englewood Beach is a 15 minutes’ drive, also gorgeous Stump Pass Beach Park. In 20 minutes, you are at Blind Pass Beach, in 25 minutes you can enjoy Manasota Beach. Or you may take a trip to wonderful Boca Grande/Gasparilla Island with an almost tropical feeling.
By the way: With only 20 minutes south of Venice, Englewood Beach and Blind Pass Beach on Manasota Key are good places to find the world-famous fossil shark teeth. Young and old alike love the searching.
Englewood East is next to Rotonda, a Golfer’s Paradise. The 18 hole Cove of Rotonda Golf Course is only 6 minutes away from your vacation home.
For Nature Lovers there are a bundle of great parks in the surrounding. Very recommended are Audubon-Pennington Nature Park, Cedar Point Environmental Park, Oyster Creek Environmental Park and Tippecanoe Environmental Park. Get an overview on the Charlotte County’s website HERE.

We really enjoyed our vacation in this house, absolutely zero complaints. Great location for us, close to everything we wanted to do. Quiet oasis in the neighborhood. Communication with rental agency was easy and timely! Would highly recommend this rental to anyone considering staying in this area.

Villa Happy Gator 2 in Englewood is a lovingly furnished house with everything you need for a vacation.
This immediately creates a feeling of well-being. The pool was great for splashing around and doing a few laps, for example.
The location is quiet and central. Whether you want to go to the beach or go shopping, everything is within easy reach. The German contact was great, both here and on site. There were plenty of tips for excursions, restaurants, and more. Our conclusion: We’d come back anytime!

Our time spent at the villa Happy Gator 2 was nothing short of excellent. The host put together an incredible place that has you feeling instantly at home. All of the small personal touches they added to the house (like labeling the switches, extra towels for the pool, even everything you need for a perfect beach outing) has made it hassle free trip and relieved stress from normal packing/traveling from our shoulders. The pool was absolutely perfect and our family spent a big chunk of our time soaking up with sun on the lounge chairs or floating/swimming in the water (always the perfect temperature). It was agreed immediately that we will be returning to stay here again when we come back to visit! Many memories were created in this house and we couldn’t be more grateful. We can’t wait for our next stay!

Our time as “house testers”
We are delighted to be the first guests in the newly renovated Villa Happy Gator 2!
The house is very clean, the pool is large enough and nice and deep – ideal for a refreshing dip. The lanai with its tropical view invites you to relax. We particularly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, which contributes to a relaxing stay. We had a wonderful time and wish all future guests equally enjoyable days here.
