This beautiful home has been extensively remodeled and newly furnished in 2013. Electrically heated, huge pool and large caged lanai with beautiful canal view, patio table, and outdoor sofa lounge. Fully equipped, contemporary kitchen with a breakfast bar. Wood and tile floors throughout. Wireless internet, Cable TV and DVD. Flat-screen TV`s in the master bedroom and living room. Both bedrooms with King Bed and its own bathroom. In the garage, you will find all the necessary things for the beach (e.g. cool box, beach chairs, beach umbrella).

Walk to the Beach or Siesta Village which is only 1/2 mile away, or explore the island with one of the bicycles provided for free. Siesta Village offers great Restaurants and live entertainment. Small boutiques make our shoppers happy.

This was an amazing home. The location was excellent as we could walk to and from the main Siesta Beach and into Siesta Key Village (though this was tough in the heat, so we got the free trolley most of the way back!). We were also lucky to see several manatee hanging out in the waterway behind the house one afternoon. The house itself was excellent and very well equipped, it was spacious and light and airy. The outside living area was fabulous with a lovely L-shaped sofa and a dining table and chairs next to the large pool. The pool was gorgeous, large enough to swim lengths but also had a shallow end for standing. In summary it was probably the best house we have ever stayed in and represented great value for money, we didn’t want to leave!

“Great home, great area, thoughtful owners! We had a sweet welcome gift waiting for us on arrival and arrived to a clean, well stocked, and lovely house. It had everything we needed, even bikes (adult only) and beach toys. The location was fantastic - quiet neighborhood but walkable to the busy part of the beach, 3 min drive to the less busy beach areas, and bike-rideable to the main drag of shops and restaurants. The owners were very responsive to the couple of minor things we had questions about. Our kids had a blast in the pool and watching fish jump in the canal. We ate all our meals outside on the lanai but enjoyed the furnishings and decor inside too. It was our first visit to Siesta Key, and we would definitely come to the area and stay at this property again!”

“Cannot beat the view or the location! Sabine and Werner were great. They responded tentatively when there were issues with the pool pump/heater and when it wasn’t heating. They had maintenance their and working on it. The outdoor living space overlooking the canal is priceless. Location is great as it’s a 1/4 of a mile to the beach and a mile to the village. Would definitely rent again!”
